Dr. Joel Shertok

Dr. Joel Shertok received his B.E. in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union in New York City and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University. Dr. Shertok has spent an extensive career in industrial process research and process development, working for such companies as Union Carbide (Bound Brook, NJ) and Amoco Corporation (Atlanta, GA and Naperville, IL) all in a variety of senior managerial and technical positions. Dr. Shertok’s particular area of expertise is in process development, scale-up, and commercialization of new processes and products, from the bench to pilot plant to full manufacture.
